Mad or Sad - Anxiety

Tuesday, July 31st, 2007

By Kacy Carr At some stage in our lives we all will have suffered a bout of being anxious due to a bad moment. Missing a bus or late for an appointment is enough to trigger uneasiness, which is quite a normal reaction. Prolonged anxiety which meddles with a person’s everyday life tells us that we are now dealing with a condition called (anxiety disorder). Coping with excessive anxiety can be a struggle but with the right medical advice and help then this ailment which is associated with other psychiatric conditions such as depression can be tamed. In the UK 1 in 10 people battle to lead a normal life, the severity of anxiety powers is no doubt a mighty force to contend with where the effects can turn a persons life upside down. Anxiety that flares up with no identifying reason behind the cause has to be questioned. Strong/severe anxiety that tampers or interferes with daily routines- activities is considered abnormal. Symptoms to look out for with (Physical Anxiety) is dry mouth/diarrhoea/abdominal discomfort/breathlessness/fast heartbeat/problem swallowing/dizzy spells/ tightening of the chest. These are a result of when the brain sends out signals to other parts of the body while at the same time releasing stress hormones/adrenalin. Organs affected are lungs heart etc that are now geared up to work faster. The fear of going mad and lack of concentration are two serious symptoms endured as well as insomnia and uncontrollable outbursts of rage- anger if suffering from psychological anxiety. Medication and treatments like psychotherapy/ counselling and more are available. Anxiety is treatable so please if you or someone close is having a bad time trying to cope with any of the symptons mentioned earlier then make an appointment to speak with your doctor. Mad or sad Some people who suffer from anxiety may appear to look and do things a little differently to which an outsider may find funny, depending on the outsider of course. Because of their lack of understanding on this condition they find it hilarious to poke fun and make nasty remarks towards the person suffering from this condition causing more misery for the sufferer. Yes I would say sufferers are mad, mad with the ignoramuses who continue to add to their torment. And saddened furthermore at how their tomentors proudly show their ignorance behind the meaning of the word compassion. You will find very useful information on anxiety/depression on my health page. A better understanding of this condition is a way forward for sufferers looking for peace of mind. http://www.benidormbeaches.com Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Kacy_Carr http://EzineArticles.com/?Mad-or-Sad—Anxiety&id=117747 little in school same girl was panties up gauge out teen because teen came brazil come fuck these xxx way sex must

Understanding Why Abortion May Not Be The Best Choice

Monday, July 30th, 2007

By Everest Alexander Satan tried to rule the earth without a physical body and Jesus called him a robber and a thief! John 10:1 But in referring to Himself, Jesus said, “… He that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep,” John 10:2 Ever wonder what that door was? In the natural sense a door is the legal means of entry into a restricted area. The earth is a restricted area; it was created by God and is still owned by Him. It’s His private property! So if one wants to come from the spirit realm and enter in and operate legally in the earth realm, he needs to have legal access! He needs to go through the door! The door to the earth (legal access) is being born of a woman and possessing a physical body! Anyone who tries to operate on earth without a physical body is trespassing and guilty of sinning against God! Jesus said, “…Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me,” Heb 10:5 Jesus accessed the earth and the people of the earth (the sheepfold and the sheep) legally, by being born of a woman… Satan did not! Jesus is the authorized shepherd of the sheep… Satan is not!!! The fundamental reason why Jesus’ name has authority in the earth is because… he came in the flesh! If He had stayed in heaven, none of the authority we have in His name would be possible! In the bible, God was only able to promise change until He got Himself a body! Promises like, “Behold, a virgin shall conceive…!” “For unto you a child is born…!” “The seed of the woman shall…!” From Genesis to Malachi God was promising change, but the only time we actually saw change is when He finally got a physical body and came to earth! Why do you think every time God was about to perform some major move in the earth, Satan was always trying to kill the babies? He tried to kill both Moses and Jesus, the mediators of the old and new covenants, respectively, through legalized infanticide! It’s because God can only change things in the earth through someone who has a physical body! That’s why man’s primary command from God in the beginning was to be fruitful and multiply! The more people born, the more vessels He could work through to demonstrate His authority and bring to pass His purpose! This is why barrenness is described as a curse and fruitfulness is a blessing in the bible! A woman was designed to bring forth children who would become instruments of change in the earth; if she’s barren then she’s no longer a channel through which God can bring instruments of change! No child can be born of her… no instrument of change can come to earth! In our present age there are so many homeless, parentless children that I believe God may allow some couples not to produce their own children just so they can rescue some child or children who have no parents of their own. So, if you’re a godly person reading this and you’re not able to produce children maybe, just maybe, God is speaking to you about adoption. Why not rescue a child who needs you and the endless love you have to give? Understanding the authority of the physical body in the earth directly affects our understanding of the issue of abortion and shows why it’s wrong! God’s modus operandi for blessing and enhancing life on earth is to equip and inspire human beings to excellence in their respective fields of endeavor. Abortion therefore, limits God’s capacity to bless the inhabitants of earth! God needs someone with a physical body who is born of a woman to be the instrument that He works through to effect positive change in our lives! “I looked for someone to defend the city and to protect it from my anger, as well as to stop me from destroying it. But I found no one. So in my fierce anger, I will punish the Israelites for what they have done, and they will know that I am furious. I, the Lord, have spoken,” Eze 22:30-31 (CEV). With millions of unborn children slaughtered daily, we are short-circuiting the very blessings God has planned for us as a race. How many inspired world-leaders, great inventors, gifted artists and talented scientists are being ripped out of their mother’s wombs and murdered on a table in the name of convenience? And still, we have the audacity to ask God, why is this world in such a mess? I’ll tell you why! Because, by a process of institutionalized infanticide, we are eliminating the very people God has been sending to earth to bless us and enhance the quality of our lives! Mass abortion retards the development of our global society and short-circuits our collective potential!!! All of us are catalysts for each other’s genius. A child may be born with a fatal disease and live in excruciating pain only to die a few hours later. The casual observer may be tempted to say that child’s life was meaningless and unfair to have to suffer so. They may even go on to say that God was cruel for allowing it. But suppose one of the nurses who witnessed that event became so affected by what she experienced that she made a decision there and then to devote her entire life to finding a cure for that particular disease. Suppose she went on to excel in researching that field and 10 years later actually found a cure for that disease. Suppose that disease was AIDS?! Was that child’s life in vain? Was God cruel to allow the child to be born and suffer for a few hours? Part of your purpose is to bring out the best in someone else! Someone you may never know or meet! The philosophical works of Plato and Aristotle were built upon the foundational principles laid by Socrates. In the 1960’s, Dr. Martin Luther King’s non-violent revolution, which changed the face of America forever, was greatly influenced by the Indian revolution led by Mahatma Ghandi in the 1940’s. In the 17th century Galileo’s understanding of the universe, based on his extensive research in Physics and Astronomy, was seeded by Copernicus’ work published 100 earlier in De Revolutionibus. And even this great publication was influenced by the propositions and discussions of Archimedes and Aristarchus in the third century BC. Today, our brightest scientific minds in contemporary medicine still reference Louis Pasteur’s phenomenal discovery, “the germ theory of disease” made almost two centuries ago. Now imagine living in a world without all these men and the discoveries they made! What if all these children had been victims of abortion??? EACH OF THESE MEN HAD A MOTHER WHO HAD A CHOICE! Every one of these men was once a mass of cells in some woman’s uterus! What if she were “Pro Choice” and decided to exercise “her choice to abort”??? What if Susanna Fontanarossa had decided that she was too young or too poor to have a child and had an abortion? Then, Christopher Columbus would not have re-discovered the most powerful nation on earth! What kind of world would we be living in today without America as we know it? Whom are you carrying in your womb??? YOU HAVE NO IDEA! Suppose sixty years ago a rape or incest victim had aborted the child from that incident? Suppose that child would have grown up to become a gifted Scientist in the area of Disease Research? Suppose that child was the Scientist God sent to earth to discover a cure FOR CANCER??? It is NOT my intention to be insensitive to any one who may have been a victim of any crime or unfortunate incident but the truth is that some of the greatest achievements have come out of some of the most horrendous experiences in life. It’s all about how you choose to respond to the situation that counts. YOU HAVE BEEN CHOSEN TO BARE A SPECIAL GIFT TO HUMANITY. TO SNUFF OUT THAT LIFE IS A CRIME AGAINST THE HUMAN RACE AND A SIN AGAINST GOD! The psychological scars stay with you for a very long time and the memories… Forever! It’s something you can NEVER undo! YOU DON’T KNOW WHO’S IN YOUR WOMB. Please consider life! How I Improved My Weightloss With Kickboxing Combinations

By Yoshi Kundagawa As you read this, imagine how it feels to lose 20 pounds. My clothes no longer fit, and I got a whole new wardrobe. Ihave tremendous energy compared to how I used to feel. Inthe middle of the day I don’t feel like I need a nap. Isleep less but much more soundly. I feel so lucky to havewalked into my gym 4 months ago. Practicing martial arts has changed my body and my entirelife. I had let work and stress take its toll. I had waytoo much body fat and my doctor told me every year I waslosing 2-3 pounds of muscle from sitting at a desk andnever exercising. I started slow doing cross-training I took a little bit of karate, and found kickboxing to bewhat I really enjoyed right off the bat. My cardio wentthrough the roof and the pounds of blubber started todrop when I began a style of aerobic kickboxing that dida lot of kickboxing combinations. Imagine how much energyit takes to throw a 4 punch combination followed by a kick. You can practically feel the calories being incinerated! For those people who know and care about who need to loseweight or get in shape, encourage them to check out martialarts. I had a membership at a traditional workout gym. Itwas stuffed with little skinny chicks reading a magazine asthey did 4 inch reps on the stairmaster. There were guysin their forties walking around in pyjama-style pants andtank tops from the eighties. They’d crank out 10 reps ofcurls with terrible form, then go to the mirror and flextheir guns and spread their lats. Oh boy what fun to hangaround that place. I find the dojo has a much more inclusive atmosphere. Atthe health club no body spoke. I’d walk the treadmill andstare at the tv screen with the rest of the bored sheep, counting the minutes until we could leave. Not at themartial arts gym. Teamwork, comraderie, and support iseverywhere. My motivation to train is higher than I canever remember. It’s made all the difference! Make Eating Healthy Foods Fun

Thursday, July 26th, 2007

By Kadence Buchanan Children everywhere in the world have an on-going love affair with junk food such as hamburgers, pizza, candy, soda and salty foods like potato chips and french fries. Unfortunately, it’s hard to find a single child who has these same strong feeling for the healthy food that they need such as grains, vegetables, fruits and foods reach in nutrients such as meat, beans, fish and nuts. Fortunately, there is one tied and tested strategy to make kids eat the kind of healthy food that some of them may not want — that’s by making it fun. That’s right, make eating healthy food fun. And how do you do that? Here are some tips: (1) The Sneak Attack. Try sneaking in some of those fruits and vegetables along with the kind of food they like, say, making muffins out of bananas or apples. There are lots of vegetables the you can throw in when you’re serving the kids pizza. You could also make them look funny by arranging them creatively on a plate or making them stand up like people. Sure, some people don’t want their kids playing with food, but if it will help them get healthier, it may be worth the effort. (2) Funny Name Game. If your kids are below the age of four, here’s a nifty trick that gets them every time. Give the fruits and vegetables funny names and concoct elaborate stories. Some stories will end with these funny-named vegetables getting swallowed alive by the giant child. In another version, the vegetables run for cover and hide from their enemies by entering a big cave that happens to be your child’s mouth where they quickly get gulped down. (3) The Taste Test. Kids dislike vegetables because they don’t like the taste. Therefore, make the healthy foods taste better and your child will love them. For instance, put peanut butter on celery or add a dash of flavor to broccoli with ranch dressing. I’m sure you can think of dozens of ways to spruce up healthy food. The key is to find creative ways to make your children enjoy eating healthy food. And once they’ve acquired a taste for it, eating healthy foods will be second nature to them. Reducing Your Household Waste - Even With Children in Nappies!

Tuesday, July 17th, 2007

By Gabrielle Edwards Firstly - paper waste. We all know about recycling paper and newspapers/magazines. But what we all should be doing is using recycled products as well. Recycled toilet paper is a big one! But it also has to be unbleached. Did you know the deadly dioxins caused by chlorine-bleaching paper products causes untold damage to marine creatures and pollution in our waterways? These dioxins leach into the food chain through marine animals that we eat, eventually reaching our babies through the breastmilk in nursing Mums. Make sure your toilet paper is unfragranced. The chemicals used in artificial fragrances can be severely damaging to your health and may trigger allergies in those who are susceptible such as young children and babies or those who have a family history of allergies or asthma. If you have a baby in nappies, if you use disposables, try to use environmentally-friendly brands that dont use chlorine-bleaching or contain filling material that is biodegradable. Dioxin poisoning from chlorine-bleaching of paper products is of particular concern if you have young children. Better still, use cloth nappies with biodegradable nappy liners. Dispose of disposable nappies in biodegradable nappy bags or even cheap Homebrand paper bags! Re-use your plastic shopping bags as bin liners or better still, use those enviro-bags sold in almost every store these days! If you must buy bin bags, make sure theyre biodegradable and unfragranced. If you have a child at kindy or pre-school, save those yoghurt containers and other plastic pots in a box which you can drop off at kindy every week. The teachers will love you for it! Egg cartons can be used as seedling pots which can then be planted straight into the garden where they will break down thus reducing the transplant stress on your precious seedlings. Donate your used mags to kindy or your local doctors office - youll be grateful for something more-up-to-date to read when you next have to pay them a visit! You can shred your newspaper and use it as a dry filling for your compost heap. Put it in a corner of the garden, add some grass, some chook poo or mushroom compost and let it break down over time. Use some of this as a dry filler for your vege compost or worm farm if you have one. Dont buy too much pre-packaged food or prepared meals. Just think about how your Mums would have coped in the 70s in the days before Chicken Tonight and Pataks Simmer Sauces! They made everything from scratch! Rediscover the art of family meals by making your own sauces. Wonderful spag bol can be made with just a couple of cans of tomatoes, some basil, garlic, chopped onion and tomato paste! Youll save money and help reduce the amount of packaging that goes into landfill. Dont buy pre-packed biscuits and snacks for the kids lunchbox! Make your own delicious, simple, nutritious morning teas like muffins, grated apple pikelets, apricot slices etc Not everyone has time during the week to cook - just one hour on the weekend to make some muffins which can be individually wrapped in Glad-Wrap for the following week will mean your kids can grab one straight from the freezer and youll feel good knowing they are free from preservatives and colours and higher in fibre, with less sugar. So as you can see, reducing your household waste is easy! Working On Your Scrapbook One Page at a Time

Monday, July 16th, 2007

By Audrey Okaneko It is so much fun creating scrapbooks that I think sometimes we can become overwhelmed about the finished product. Ive found the easiest way to work on a scrapbook is to work on just one page at a time, or a two page layout (side by side), not really thinking about the finished product. Right now, Im working on a scrapbook of my daughters trip to Washington D.C. She was there over spring break. We have all of the photos. And we have the album. Now, we just work on the album one page at a time. Last week we got some new supplies, so now we are looking at old pages seeing if any of these supplies would compliment pages already complete. Its fun to watch the progress of the album being created. We know we will have a full scrapbook. My daughter will be attending a 4 week summer program in Washington D.C. this summer, so we know we may add to the current album or we may start a 2nd album. Well know when we get to that point. If your album is a gift to someone else, then daily or weekly goals is the route to go. For example, if you are creating a 12 page scrapbook for a gift and the gift giving event is in 2 weeks, you know that youll need to create one page per day. Usually one page can be created in 30 minutes or less. If I have time to create two pages, I will. If I skip a day, then my gift will only be 11 pages, not 12. I know the recipient will still be happy. And I can always create additional pages in the future for the recipient to add to his/her scrapbook. When you create your scrapbook one page at a time, you spend more time enjoying the page you are working on and less time stressing over a finished project. Audrey Okaneko has been scrapbooking for several years now. Easy Weight Loss - Make A Start Right Now!

Saturday, July 14th, 2007

By Marie Gordon Oh dear, oh dear, it’s that time of year but yet again! The holidays are over, Christmas has come and gone, and what is there to look forward to! Summer holidays I suppose, but they do seem such a long time away. Anyway, I must confess that at the moment, even the thought of a holiday horrifies me, because after my over-indulgence during the festive season, the last thing that I want to be doing is even more eating and drinking. So, if there is nothing to look forward to for now, and we are in the midst of the January depression, what on earth CAN we do to lift ouselves out of the blues at this time of year! Here’s one thought for you, start right now and get fit. I suggest that not only will that make you feel heaps better, after a few weeks, you will even start to look forward to that summer vacation. Let me give you another more serious and compelling reason for this, and that is that we all shoud start to take our long term health much more seriously than we do at present. At least that is my humble opinion. Did you know for instance that current statistics reveal that 75% of Americans are overweight and 40% are obese. That is just in the US, and I am prepared to hazard an educated guess that the rest of the developed world is not far behind. For those who desire to lose weight and obtain optimal health therefore, it can be overwhelming trying to figure out where to start. From the Atkins Diet to the South Beach Diet, from low fat to low carb diets, there are numerous weight-loss plans to choose from. In addition, given conflicting information as to what works best, it can be difficult deciding what to do. For those who have tried many diet plans with no success, it becomes more difficult and frustrating. Many people forget that a diet might work wonders for their friend but won’t work well for them. This is not necessarily because the diet is “bad”, but because each body reacts differently. However, there is a way to lose weight that is easy, fast, and doesn’t involve deprivation or calorie counting. It is important to address some background information about body genetics and why weight loss can be difficult before I start to discuss weight loss tips. At the start of any diet, it is important to note that each person has a different body build. Some people are short and stout, while others are tall and thin. Some have big hips and shoulders, and others are short and very muscular. Genetics can determine body shape and a person’s natural build just as it can do eye color, hair color, skin color, and so on. The good news is that genetics do not determine whether or not one will be fat, but will determine one’s body shape. This means that not every woman can expect to be tall and thin like a Hollywood actress or supermodel such as Tyra Banks. Not every man can expect to be defined and muscular like The Rock. The goal really, in my opionion, is to be at a comfortable weight for one’s body shape and to feel good about it. Having said all that, why is it that people are overweight! I have listed ten of the most common reasons below:- 1. Slow metabolism - People who are overweight have a hard time “burning off” their intake of food. As a result the fat is stored up in the body, rather than used. 2. Emotional eating - Those who struggle with weight often eat when stressed, or when other emotional upheavals are happening in their life. 3. Hormonal imbalances - This does mainly apply to the ladies, (complex creatures that we are!). 4. Eating portions - We can all be guilty of the syndrome that I like to call “greed not need”. So watch out for those portion sizes. 5. A build up of toxins in the body - This can be due to too much junk food, candies, sodas, too much coffee, these can all contriubute to this. 6. Eating too late - Late-night eating can cause food to convert to fat a lot more easily, as well as making sleep more difficult. 7. A high susceptibility to growth hormones - These are the hormones which are given to animals to help them grow faster and larger. Some meat and dairy can have some residual growth hormones. These hormones can sometimes result in increased fat storage. 8. Not eating breakfast - This really does make your metabolism slow and sluggish. 9. Numerous diets - Going from diet to diet has a negative impact on the metabolism and causes weight loss to be much more difficult. 10. Food ingredients - The reasons why are amazing and beyond the scope of this article. Here Are Seven Simple Steps For Easy Weight Loss Now that there is a better understanding of body genetics, and why people have a tendency to be overweight, here are my tips for fast easy weight loss. #1: Drink some water first thing in the morning. Ideally you should drink eight ounces of distilled water, bottled water, or filtered water (not tap water). #2: Eat a big breakfast. Suggested foods to choose from are apples, bananas, rye bread with no sugar, plain yogurt, tuna, tomatoes, carrots, peppers, raw honey, and such like. #3: Drink distilled water throughout the day: I recommend that you try and drink at least eight glasses per day. #4: Walk non-stop one hour each day. This doesn’t have to be power walking, just walk at your own pace. Walking is one of the best forms of exercise you know! #5: Try and stop eating after 6:00 PM. This is very hard for many people, but do the best you can. You will be surprised at how much you benefit from this. #6: Do a candida cleanse. Candida is yeast overgrowth in the colon that can cause all kinds of health problems. Check online for “Candida Cleanse” or go to your local health food store. #7: Do a colon cleanse: This cleanse cleans out the digestive system, which is clogged and sluggish in many overweight people. Once again, check online or go to your local health food store. More and more people worldwide are becoming overweight. Extra weight can result in many health issues and negatively impact your emotional state and self-esteem. However for those struggling with this problem, there is hope, because you can lose it and keep it off if you really want to. Now that you have a understanding of body genetics and why you might be overweight, why not take some positive action today! Commit to trying at least a few of the steps, you will be glad that you did.
